Project Grad Knoxville
Established in Knoxville 2001 and originally started in Houston in 1988
Mission: to impact generational change through education. GRAD’s K-16 approach focuses on college and career access and success; social service support; family/neighborhood/community engagement; intentional support for students from disadvantaged circumstances
Vision: “We see a world of hope—where there are no limits on potential, the greatness in every child is inspired and celebrated, and dreams are realized through opportunities and education.”
How to support: provide opportunities for the kids we support (K-16), volunteer, teach them how to do what you are skilled at, make financial donations designated to support GRAD Knoxville, contribute to the Laptop Telethon for GRAD kids
